
Supporting British Judo – English Open 2026
Birkdale Collective are pleased to be working with British Judo on the English Open 2026, this event requires a number of Volunteers to help out.
The English Open Judo Championships is a premier annual competition sanctioned by the British Judo Association (BJA), typically at Walsall Sports Centre. It serves as a major national tournament for Pre-Cadet, Cadet, Junior, and Senior levels, featuring upwards of 400 competitors. More information can be found here.

Timings: Saturday 21st February 8am to Sunday 22nd February 5pm
Location: Walsall Sports Centre, Broadway, Walsall, West Midlands WS1 3EZ
Volunteer roles will vary from camera operating, stewarding and other general tasks on the day. There are two roles available for photography also. Apply here with your CV to info@birkdalecollective.com.
The British Judo Association (BJA) is the official governing body for judo in the UK, established in 1948 to promote and supervise the sport. Recognized by UK Sport and the British Olympic Association, it manages national teams, coaches, and clubs with a focus on inclusivity.
